@Sina702: Excellent suggestion. This might really be the cause for Fire G. not having snipping tools enabled. Is not the power of community smth great?

You may not have it because you have windows tablet PC optional components disabled. Go to windows programs and features, check it, and apply, and if you type snipping tool in the search box, you should have it. Good Luck

I just checked my Vista Premium and I don’t have it so I assumed it was a vista ultimate “extra”.

Fire G. is right. I used to have business and my friend has home premium and we both had it. I’d recently upgraded to ultimate and it was still there. I think it’
s excellent and the only thing i wish for it is if it could make higher quality images because it gets very blurred when you zoom into something. But its awesome besides that.

This is a Vista Ultimate tool only.

All us Basic and Home Premium users will just have to stick with good ol’ “print scrn”,

For “old school” WinXP-users there is the excellent Winsnap FREE version:
It can even let you select any size on your double-wide extended desktop!

The Winsnap 2.x versions are NOT FREE,but the free one has all I need,
except making notes on the screenshot…
(there is a FREE utility that does just/only that,but I’ve lost the link )
