Ad Destroy 6.0: For Yahoo Messenger
As you probably know after Dedndave stopped releasing patches for new yahoo builds (Yahoo Messenger 10) there wasn’t an alternative to patch yahoo messenger. This is where AD Destroy comes in developed by Dermot and currently in version 6 its one of the best or rather the only hassle free patching tool for Yahoo Messenger 10 builds(I haven’t tested it on lower builds but there should be no difference), but it doesn’t stop there as there is the older versions for people who use Yahoo Messenger 9 or below.
AD Destroy 6.0 comes in both 32bit and 64bit and will work only with the official Y-Messenger builds.

Blue Badge Patch for Windows 7
Rafael from WithinWindows has just released a patch to patch the Windows 7 build(6801) released at the recent PDC 2008 in Los Angeles. This build is the build that Microsoft handed out at the event, some how Rafael has found a way, or made a way to unlock some new features from the build shown at the conference. It?s only available for 32 bit systems(x86) the version for the 64 bit system will be released tomorrow. The files it patches are not automatically backed up so it?s highly recommend that you back up these files before they are patched! I know one feature that you all wanted is the new taskbar, yes it?s unlocked in this! That files the are patched and need to be backed up are below:
Enable polygamy in Yahoo Messenger 8 and 9 without patches

Remove ads from Yahoo Messenger 8 and 9
Recently the Yahoo Messenger 9 was released, and at once it was clear that all add removing techniques which were used in the older builds, like version 8.x (early builds) became obsolete.
The new versions were more resistant to patching. Therefore they needed some more fiddling around and finally there is a patch which can be used by all to remove the annoying ads from this messenger, like the previous technique this is also a registry hack but it has more to do than registry hack, it makes the yahoo ads cache read only so new ads will not load after the patching process.
Uxtheme Patch For Vista SP1
After the release of Vista SP1, the theme functionality totally died off. A new UX theme patch was required as the old one completely stopped working. Until now all the people who used Vista SP1 editions other than Ultimate and Home premium were left with no other theme than Microsoft’s plain not so good looking Vista Basic theme.
Stop worrying, because a blogger named Rafael has released a UX theme patch that really works in Vista SP1, Although there were other patches released that needed a lot of tinkering as well as some of them needed you to press F8 and startup with other options which was quite annoying, this on the other hand does not need any of those, and works perfect.
