Microsoft Security Essentials Final
Microsoft Security Essentials final was released to the public today. Microsoft Security Essentials is a much more advanced version of Windows live one care. What’s good about this is its detection rate is high, scan performance is very good, uses less resources and it also has a very low false positive rate making it a very good security product.
Before installing make sure to remove any other antivirus or security program that is installed already.
The final comes as a free download and will also include free updates. MSE is compatible with Windows XP 32bit, Vista and Windows 7 (32bit/64bit).
Microsoft Security Essentials – A Security Suite From Microsoft
Finally Microsoft has grown out of their stupid security products like Live OneCare, and Live Security Scanner to produce a real security suite which can detect Trojans, worms and other malicious stuff in your pc. AV-Test Labs has put this to the testing and the results are pretty astonishing, it has detected most of the malicious things they threw at it. And did not detect any false positives, this also supposedly detects root kits which is awesome news for all out there, and if Microsoft releases this as a freeware, then this might well become the a superb competitor for Comodo security suite. This uses the Microsoft Cloud platform, but the definition databases are stored in the local machine to increase the speed. Yet we need to see how this handles and works in the real world. With an average everyday user. Expect a full review from us soon, which focuses on user friendliness and other aspects from the point of a user. For now here it is for your download.

Is something wrong with Windows or with Microsoft?
Ever since I started being interested in computers I have been reading and listening to the complaints about windows. On the other side there are people who are in love with windows no matter what version. This seems normal for people have diferent tastes and needs, but at the end we all probably share the same opinion about these two issues: windows xp is definitely a mature system and windows vista is abnormally resource demanding like no operating system ever out there. Now, here is a question for you? If xp is a mature operating system, why do we need another one, and further why does Microsoft want to convince us, we need vista if we know vista brings little and takes more?
