JumpTo – Best Context Menu Launcher
There are many launchers, which save you time and make you work faster with keyboard shortcuts. Yes again I’m talking about launchers, since they are the heart of a power user’s computer experience most power users can not live without a launcher of some kind, may it be a mouse based or a keyboard based one.
My favorite launcher when using keyboard is FARR (Find And Run Robot). FARR is absolutely a pleasure to use and fun too and it saves me a ton of time going through the start menu. I really love FARR when it comes to keyboard launchers.
Other types of launcher I prefer to keyboard based ones are the ones which launch folders and applications using a context menu entry. This is very useful if you are using a mouse all the time. Previously I was using FolderGuide which was simply superb except for a minor drawback, it only adds your folders as links in the context menu it doesn’t support adding applications, files and links.
Speed Up Your Life With Windows 7 Keyboard Shortcuts
Keyboard shortcuts are combinations of two or more keys that, when pressed, can be used to perform a task that would typically require a mouse or other pointing device. Keyboard shortcuts can make it easier to interact with your computer, saving you time and effort as you work with Windows and other programs.
Most programs also provide accelerator keys that can make it easier to work with menus and other commands. Check the menus of programs for accelerator keys. If a letter is underlined in a menu, that usually means that pressing the Alt key in combination with the underlined key will have the same effect as clicking that menu item.
Pressing the Alt key in some programs, such as Paint and WordPad, shows commands that are labeled with additional keys that you can press to use them.
You can also create new keyboard shortcuts to open programs. For more information, see Create keyboard shortcuts to open programs.

FARR – The Best Launcher for Keyboard Maniacs
Nowadays there are a lot of application launchers like Objectdock, Rocketdock, Circledock, Launchy and finally FARR (Find And Run Robot). Most of the do not rely on mouse but some of them like Launchy and FARR can be used with the keyboard. Launchy has some problems installing in vista, but FARR was absolutely awesome. FARR can index the desktop, Start Menu and other areas you specify in your settings.
It has a wide array of options like custom skins, custom commands, application behavior settings and also application beauty settings. Just install and use No configurations needed. Just start the application and you will see the FARR icon in your System Tray, now to launch FARR jus press Pause Break key and start typing your app name, when you press ENTER key the first application entry in the search result is selected. Its as simple as that.
