Scroll Smoothly with Firefox

Posted on March 11th, 2008, by Joel 6 Comments

Most people like firefox more than IE, because its secure, fast, and much more useful with extended functionality with plugins and themes. But one problem most users found in Firefox is that it doesn’t scroll smoothly, but IE scrolls very beautifully and this is one of the resons some people prefer IE7 over Firefox. Do not worry help is at hand with a new Firefox plugin which mimics the smooth scrolling of IE7.

Its called SmoothWheel and its one of the most awesome plugins I have ever found. If you goto the plugin options in the add-on manager and click on smoothwheel and click options you can set a lot of advanced parameters can be set like the speed, scroll size, fps limit and adapative durations and steps.

NOTE: For Firefox 3x users, please see this post on how to install SmoothWheel.
