Opera 10 Turbo Preview
Opera has released a preview version of their browser included with the new opera technology called “Opera Turbo”. What this turbo thing does is that it uses server side optimization to compress the amount of data so the total amount to be downloaded will be reduced. This is similar to their “opera mini” optimization. Also this turbo function doesn’t help much (no need to actually) if you have a fast connection but its a very good experience if you use a slow connection(dialup maybe). I’ve tested the turbo function and it does seem a bit faster except in some cases the image quality is compromised heavily when in turbo mode. Secure connections(SSL) are not routed through opera servers and they will be connected directly so there is no threat to your sensitive data. This release is compatible with Windows/Mac OSX/Linux.
The turbo button can be found on the lower left of your browser

That seems nice. I wish Opera has the separate thread feature like Chrome then i’m sold. Do you mind do a comparison with Chrome?

Absolutely amazing.
Enginee needs a lot of code tuning but apart that, turbo is awesome.
