Microsoft has now released a beta of its new office suite, Office 2010.  Microsoft Office 2010 offers you rich and powerful new ways to deliver your best work – at work, home or school – on your computer, from a Windows Mobile-based Smartphone or via a Web browser.  Quickly and creatively grab your audience’s attention and inspire them with your ideas by using enhanced and easy-to-use tools, customizable templates, color schemes, and photo-editing capabilities. Office 2010 Beta comes in two different flavors.  The first is Office Professional 2010 Beta which includes:

  • Microsoft Word 2010
  • Microsoft Excel 2010
  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2010
  • Microsoft Outlook 2010
  • Microsoft OneNote 2010
  • Microsoft Publisher 2010
  • Microsoft Access 2010

This download is around 617 megabytes and is downloaded in a conventional method.

The second flavor is Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010 Beta.  This suite includes:

  • Microsoft Word 2010
  • Microsoft Excel 2010
  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2010
  • Microsoft Outlook 2010
  • Microsoft OneNote 2010

This download is delivered via Click-to-Run, a streaming technology for use on high-speed internet connections. If you are not on a high-speed connection, you will probably want to download Office Professional 2010 Beta instead.

You can also separately download Microsoft Project Professional 2010 Beta or Microsoft Visio Premium 2010 Beta.

You will have to sign in with or create a Windows Live ID in order to download this beta.
