Exceed the 9 Speed Dial slots in Opera

Ok so this neat trick will enable you to exceed the 9 slot limit for Speed Dial that Opera usually has to whatever you want.

That being said, I will now explain how you can further expand those 9 slots to whatever you want. And here are the steps.

1. First you need to have at least one used Speed Dial slot

2. Now go to “C:\Documents and Settings\UserNameHere\Application Data\Opera\profile

3. Open up the file “speeddial.ini

4. Now just under the line “; This file is stored in UTF-8 encoding” make two spaces (or you can scroll down at the very end of the file and make those two spaces), and in the second space type the following:
[Size]
Rows=4
Columns=5

This gives you 20 speed dial slots (adding more, just makes in look ugly)

Don’t worry, in my pic Opera just auto-arranged it.

And that’s basically it. Just save the file and restart Opera and enjoy more speed dial slots…and here is what you get.
