BCArchive is a freeware compression utility made by Jetico company which task is to compress files and folders and put them in encrypted archives. So it does not only compress data like winzip, winrar and others do, but also encrypts them. It uses well known and powerful encrypting algorithms like blowfish, twofish, rijandel etc which proved to be unbreakable so far. There are two encrypting methods: password based encryption and public key encryption. Bcarchive sports also windows explorer integration and an option to self-extract encrypted archives. There are a few other utilities that encrypts data like axcrypt but the combination of encrypting and compressing in pair sound even better. BCarchive is fast, secure and it simply works like a charm. There is also paid version but the free one is just fine.

Requirements: 32/64 bit | Vista, XP, 2003 Server, Win2000, NT, ME, 98
