now I’m a little puzzled here….what do I do ?
do I place them in my sig field or what ?
[theWizard: well you can, if you want hundreds of ppl contacting u at the same time.
well this is an easy way to send your contact your IM links and ask them to click on it. when they do, if they are already your friends you can chat, otherwise it prompts them to add your ID for chatting... so use appropriately]

The HTML codes you have here is not working and I’m trying to add it to my website, but nothing. I don’t feel this HTML code is written to work. When you click on the link all you get is a page that does not exist. If this does not work why keep it online? Please take a look at this problem and fix it or please remove this blog. Thank you.

thanks for notifying the issue
remove the “” from the lines if it does not work
eg:
“ymsgr:sendIM?USERNAME”>Contact me via yahoo to
ymsgr:sendIM?USERNAME>Contact me via yahoo
working example
and i checked all the codes and they do work
remember when you keep your mouse over the link you should only see a link starting like msnim:chat?contact=examplemail@live.com if you get something like http://www.exampleweb.com/”ymsgr:addfriend?exampleacc@yahoo.com” then obviously you have got it wrong and it should take you to a page not found or similar error.

I put this link on my website
Chat with me
But unfortunatly, the browser returns the error “page not found” and in the adress section of the browser msnim:chat?contact=mymsnname is displayed.
removing or adding “” did not help. Do you know what the problem is?
regards
