They might be real, the alphas are there, any of M$ employees could bring a copy home for an evening, nobody would notice. And after all, they have to start off from something. They don't make it from scratch, they use their previous product as the base (and why not?). I am not sure if THESE are real screens, but there is no reason why they couldn't be. There are also videos, videos can't be photoshopped (yet ;-) )!

Dude! I just realized after looking at it that in the About Windows dialog, it says "Version 6.1" right under the big Windows 7 thing. Huge give-away, but still a nice photo-shop.

Mini, you have a point about it looking like XP. Maybe they just forgot to change the 6.1 thing yet.

Jesus Christ, lets get things staight. :P

Thats NOT photoshopped... why?, well its obvious if you use some brains O_0

-se7en is still in planning stages THEREFORE all which is here is simpy a base code and kernal, hence why the screenshots look very much like vista.

-Dont you guys remember the first longhorn (vista) screenshots? they were very much like XP.

- se7en is due to be released in 2011 therefore what the screenshots show will most likely not be in the final version and much more different.

And why would you wanna photoshop it, doesnt seem the effort, id just be wasting 5 minutes of my life if i were to.

This is a hacked version of Linux with a Vista theme, it is certain, because MS wouldn't violate a known copyright to the ls command in linux, they could make their own, but it couldn't act the same or have the same letters(ls) so they stick with the old MS-DOS(bought by bill, not made by him) "dir" command
