Windows 7 RC has been released by Microsoft and is available to for download from their web site. The download links will be available until July 2009 so there no need to hurry..at the moment download speeds are very slow probably due to the amount of users downloading it. However this has to be downloaded using Microsoft’s java based download manager.(some akamai d/l manager which sucks) If you want to use a another download manager all you need to do is simply copy the download link given in the java-downloader and paste it in your download manager.(if that is too much to do… .. see below for direct links)

Currently Windows 7 RC is available in both 32-bit and 64-bit formats but its only available in 5 languages; English, German. Japanese, Spanish and French.

Note: As evaluation period in this release comes to an end on the June 1st of 2010, this version comes with another new type of “goodie” with it.. It’s a new system to encourage users to switch to the RTM version that would be available in the future. What this new feature does is it shuts down your pc every two hours after the evaluation period is over.
